Celebrating Who I Am Exhibit:

March 1 - 30

An exhibition of children's artwork that encourages learning through creative expression.

VSA Arts and CVS Caremark All Kids Can, brings this exhibition of art by children with disabilities from across the USA to the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum.

In 2010 VSA Arts and CVS Caremark All Kids Can, engaged schools and communities in activities that encouraged learning through creative expression. Children were asked to show us who they are by considering what makes them unique and to share with us their interests, talents and dreams. The result is a stunning exhibition of 51 works chosen from 4,500 submissions; one from each state and the District of Columbia.

The exhibit runs March 1 - 30, 2011in the main exhibition hall of the Discovery Museum. Solua Antoniou, President of VSA arts, and affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, says of the exhibit, "Within the collection of personal expressions, you will see reflection, self-discovery, and open minds. Enjoy getting to know these diverse and imaginative young artists!"
